8b12e5acc9 Added debugOtaKeyboxFallbackDuration property.
[ Cherry-pick of http://ag/16064434 ]
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/136330 ]

This changes adds a custom debug property for changing the fallback
policy used for the system. Depending on the value set, the device
will either use a "fast" fallback (30 seconds) or "default" fallback
(~1 day with exponential backoff). Setting this property to either
"fast" or "default" will end the current fallback if it has been
triggered.

39558526f6 Wrapped OKP info into several classes.
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/133744 ]

This changes adds several small classes which contain and manage
system and engine information related to OTA keybox provisioning.
These classes closely map to the OKP device file messages.

Engine OKP provisioner.

[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/133803 and http://go/ag/15645335 ]

The OtaKeyboxProvisioner provides a CdmEngine-specific context for
performing OTA keybox provisioning. Utilizes the system-wide
SystemFallbackPolicy to relay provisioning status between engines.
The provisioner will handle message wrapping and unwrapping of the
raw OTA keybox request / response into the SignedProvisioningMessage
which is sent to/received from the provisioning server.

Integrated OKP into CDM Engine

[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/133804 and http://go/ag/15646376 ]

Extended the functionality of the CdmEngine to check if the device
requires OKP and to initialize OKP resources if required. The
functionality of OpenSession() and GetProvisioningRequest() have been
the most affected. If OKP is required, these methods will signal to
the app that provisioning is required and will return an OKP request.

Once a device is provisioned, the OKP data is cleared away and the
CdmEngine will resume normal operation. Engines created after a
device is provisioned will immediately enter normal operations.
The exception is for CdmEngines which failed to perform OKP for some
reason and are still running. Those apps will need to restart before
gaining access to L1 operations.

5eed0446da Clean up CdmEngine logs.
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/121568 ]

The CdmEngine logs had both too much and too little information.

Since our logging has been enabled to print function names natively,
many of the log information has become superfluous. Needless
information has been removed, and many of the important INFO logs have
been reduced to only the information not present in the function name.

Some of the INFO and ERROR logs were missing identifiers to match
failures with the same session request should the failures take more
than a few milliseconds to occur. CDM session IDs and key set IDs
have been included in all the logs that _appeared_ to have a slow
operation between the top of the method and log.

To help make enum values more readable, several enums-to-string
functions have been implemented. These converters are intended for
INFO logging and as such, do not log any addition information should
the enum be out of range.

To help make empty and null identifiers more readable in the logs,
empty strings will be logged as <empty> and null strings will be
logged as <null>.

While working through the "cdm_engine.cpp" file, a few minor changes
have been made:
- Adjust if statements to match with Google C++ style guidelines
  - Skipped anything that was not obvious
- Added a const qualifier to variables where appropriate
- Moved some null checks to the top of the method
  - Only where sequence is non-critical to normal operation
- Removed unnecessary string to vector to string conversions
- Reject empty |force_session_id|
  - Already enforced on CE CDM code and not uesd on Android

ca335b2c11 Only one function for reporting usage support.
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/121567 ]

Replaced the two usage support functions GetUsageSupportType() and
UsageInformationSupport() into a single function HasUsageInfoSupport().

Since moving to only supporting a single usage info system (usage table
header + usage entries), the different usage support functions have
lost their purpose.

One version of the method works on an open session and will use a
cached value of the property if previously set. The other can be
called without opening the session (as used for query calls).

This is part of larger fix for the usage table initialization process.

e538c96131 Save and retrieve key information from licenses and usage records
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/120512 ]

Wrapped DRM private keys are loaded when a key request is made or when
offline/usage sessions are restored. They were earlier loaded when a
session was opened.

For streaming sessions, key material will be fetched from the default
or legacy certificates and loaded when a key request is made.

For offline and usage sessions, key material may be retrieved from
license or usage records if available. If not available, information
associated with the legacy certificate will be loaded.

Certificate and wrapped keys are also written out when an offline
license or usage record is saved.

bbe9f6afc4 Add ATSC support - part 1
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/100864 and http://go/ag/10704773 ]

ATSC 3.0 allows for licenses to be downloaded OTA and are tied to
a DRM certificate that may be shared across apps. The provisioning
process for ATSC may happen at the factory or during an OS update.

This contrasts from the regular OTT model, which requires that
provisioning and license download have an uplink as well as a
downlink connection.

This adds support for the ATSC mode property. ATSC mode can only be
set (or unset) before sessions are opened. Once the CDM identifier is
set/sealed, requests to modify the ATSC mode will be rejected.

If one needs to open sessions with both ATSC mode and regular (non-ATSC)
mode, separate MediaDrm objects will need to be created. The default
mode is to not use ATSC.

Enable ATSC mode by calling
  mediaDrm.setPropertyString("atscMode", "enable")

Disable ATSC mode by calling
  mediaDrm.setPropertyString("atscMode", "disable")

Provisioning and unprovisioning requests for ATSC will be rejected as
certificates will be retrieved by the ATSC service.

2a16d70a06 Suppress error for removing lingering offline licenses.
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/97963 ]

There are situations where an offline license file will remain on the
system after it's usage entry has been deleted. This would result in
its key set ID being reported as present by the CDM, but any
operations acting upon it will result in an error.

The app should be able to remove the license without error, so long
as the license file exists and no other OEMCrypto operations fail.

This change introduces a new error code LICENSE_USAGE_ENTRY_MISSING,
which indicates that a license's usage entry cannot be found.

A new integration test checks that the CDM can handle the calls to
removeOfflineLicense().

e27bc4ba6a Accept a security level to be specified during provisioning
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/97267 ]

In earlier releases, provisioning would occur based on a cached
security level. If an open session call returned a NotProvisionedException
the security level would be cached for use with any future provisioning
call.

An app would have to set the security level, then call openSession,
have it fail and then request provisioning. This fits the normal flow of
most apps. Still on occasion, an app might change requested security level
after an openSession call failed. Using the cached security level
would result in unexpected behavior.

This change allows provisioning to occur at the last security level that
was set.

a62886b925 Combined Decrypt Calls
(This is a merge of http://go/wvgerrit/93829,
http://go/wvgerrit/93830, http://go/wvgerrit/93832,
http://go/wvgerrit/93833, and http://go/wvgerrit/93834 from the
Widevine repo.)

This implements the CDM code changes necessary to take advantage of
Combined Decrypt Calls on OEMCrypto v16. The result of this is that
WVCryptoPlugin is much lighter now because it can pass the full sample
down to the core in one call, but CryptoSession is heavier, as it now
has to handle more complex fallback logic when devices can't handle
multiple subsamples at once.

This patch also removes support for the 'cens' and 'cbc1' schema, which
are being dropped in OEMCrypto v16. This fixes an overflow in the code
for handling those schemas by removing it entirely.

This patch also fixes the "in chunks" legacy decrypt path to use larger
chunk sizes on devices with higher resource rating tiers.

af15f8c83d Send spoids in provisioning requests
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/87283 ]

SPOIDs (Stable Per-Origin IDentifiers) were not correctly being
set during CdmEngine construction. This resulted in SPOID values not
being sent in provisioning requests. This caused the serial number in
the drm certificate to not be stable after a reprovision.
This behaviour appears to be true going back to O.

CdmEngine no longer takes a SPOID in the constructor since not all
callers use SPOIDs. A setter has been added in its place. Previously
spoid had a default argument to the constructor.

63b2ea86d9 Allow CE CDM to Create Sessions Without a Service Certificate
(This is a merge of http://go/wvgerrit/84510)

When the CE CDM 3.5 behavior around service certificates was originally
implemented, it allowed sessions to be created if a service certificate
had not yet been installed, in keeping with the EME spec. However, the
service certificate in use at session creation time was cached, and so
there was a bug where any sessions open before a service certificate was
installed would never be updated with any future service certificates.
The code also caused problems for Android. When it was merged to master,
it was fixed to simply not allow session creation on CE CDM without a
service certificate. However, this created an impedance mismatch between
the CE CDM and EME that has caused pain for Shaka Player Embedded,
Chrome, Chromecast, Fuchsia, and likely every partner that is trying to
implement a fully-compliant EME stack on top of CE CDM.

Removing the code that blocks session creation without a service
certificate is easy. Fixing the bug that motivated it is not. Removing
the caching is not possible because Android needs it for certain
behavior on its end. So instead, the CE CDM will have to iterate over
all open sessions and update their service certificates if the installed
service certificate changes.

ee995d5fae Replacing NULL with nullptr in core/
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/84647 ]
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/84648 ]

Replacing most instances of C's NULL with C++'s nullptr. Also changed
how a NULL check is performed on smart pointers. They provided an
implicit boolean operator for null checks, meaning the underlying
pointer does not need to be compared directly (as it was in some places
before).

Note that clang-format has performed additional changes to some of the
test files that have not yet been formatted.

d641797e05 Use hex for FDPT hash
Merge from Widevine repo of http://go/wvgerrit/75123
Merge from Widevine repo of http://go/wvgerrit/75114

This changes the encoding for the hash to be hex instead of base64.

Also, the bad frame number is initialized to 0 to make it easier to
debug. And the FDPT test app now uses the correct byte order.

85d8e961f8 Protect Session Map with a Recursive Mutex
(This is a merge of http://go/wvgerrit/72764)

Netflix has identified a calling pattern that causes this mutex to be
taken recursively. This is not guaranteed to be safe for Widevine's
old custom Lock implementation nor std::mutex. However, it is guaranteed
to be safe for std::recursive_mutex. This patch updates the mutex in use
accordingly.

In the long-term, this lock needs to be reconsidered, as already noted
by comments in the code. It would be great if the reconsidered locking
did not require a recursive-safe lock. The TODO for this has been spun
off into its own bug and the comment has been updated to point to this.

1) Wrapping the CDM Engine methods to capture timing and error
information.
2) Allows use of a mock CDM Engine for testing.

700ee5160a Add session metric pruning.
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/65983 ]

Add support to drop closed metrics in order to save space for
long-running applications (and CdmEngine instances). The code now keeps
only a limited number of metrics collections after the session is closed.
As a session (and its metrics session) is closed, the oldest, closed metrics
session is dropped. This means those metrics will not be reported nor
accessible in the client.
