The WVDrmPlugin has a single CdmIdentifier. The CdmIdentifier contains
a SPOID that is calculated from the device ID (keybox or OEM cert),
an application reverse domain name and possibly an origin.
The CdmIdentifier is set and SPOID calculated on certain calls into
WVDrmPlugin. Once it is set, it will not be recalculated. We prevent
certain operations such as modifying the origin once the CdmIdentifier
has been set as this will require recalculating the SPOID.
Recalculating the SPOID may affect open sessions or calls in progress.
In a similar way, modifying the security level, will affect the
Device ID value and in turn the SPOID. The security level cannot be modified
if any sessions are open. This does leave open the possibility that the
SPOID may be calculated at one security level, sessions are then closed,
and the security level is then changed without an error being flagged.
The provisioning certificate file name is based on the SPOID. When
the SPOID does not match the security level, either the provisioning
information may not be found even though that security level has
been provisionined or the provisioning information may be stored
in an incorrect location if provisioning occurs.
The correct solution is to prevent modifications to the security level
once the CdmIdentifier is set. This is a behavior change and might
impact apps. We will reevaluate this for the next release.
For now, we will work around this. When the CdmIdentifier is set for L3,
we will calculate SPOIDs with both L1 and L3 device IDs and check if
provisioning previously occurred with SPOIDs calculated for that level.
If so, use that level, otherwise use L3.

In earlier releases, provisioning would occur based on a cached
security level. If an open session call returned a NotProvisionedException
the security level would be cached for use with any future provisioning
call.
An app would have to set the security level, then call openSession,
have it fail and then request provisioning. This fits the normal flow of
most apps. Still on occasion, an app might change requested security level
after an openSession call failed. Using the cached security level
would result in unexpected behavior.
This change allows provisioning to occur at the last security level that
was set.

The combined decryption call feature was introduced in android R.
In earlier releases, subsamples were passed one at a time for
decryption within the plugin. A decryption request that consists
entirely of clear data should be passed on to OEMCrypto even if
no keys are loaded.
A sample might consist of subsamples of clear and protected data.
In legacy mode, this proved to be an issue for OEMCrypto if the clear
subsamples were passed on but the protected ones were rejected (b/110251447).
For legacy mode and in the absence of keys being loaded, the subsample will
be passed to OEMCrypto only if the clear lead/frame is in a single subsample
and not broken up across multiple subsamples.

On unprovisioning, all persistent state/files are deleted. If a
provisioning session is opened soon after, |OEMCrypto_Terminate|
and |OEMCrypto_Initialize| will not be called. The (deleted) device
key will remain resident in memory and will not be regenerated until
|OEMCrypto_Initialize| is called. Any L3 licenses created will be
associated with a device key that does not exist, at least after
OEMCrypto is terminated.
By disabling delayed termination of OEMCrypto, OEMCrypto will be
terminated and initialized immediately on unprovisioning.

This implements the CDM code changes necessary to take advantage of
Combined Decrypt Calls on OEMCrypto v16. The result of this is that
WVCryptoPlugin is much lighter now because it can pass the full sample
down to the core in one call, but CryptoSession is heavier, as it now
has to handle more complex fallback logic when devices can't handle
multiple subsamples at once.
This patch also removes support for the 'cens' and 'cbc1' schema, which
are being dropped in OEMCrypto v16. This fixes an overflow in the code
for handling those schemas by removing it entirely.
This patch also fixes the "in chunks" legacy decrypt path to use larger
chunk sizes on devices with higher resource rating tiers.

Apps query a number of properties at initialization. The mediaDrm
API getProperty allows the query of a single property at a time.
This causes a series of requests. If no crypto
sessions are concurrently open, a series of expensive OEMCrypto
Initialization and Termination calls will occur.
In this change OEMCrypto termination is delayed. If an OEMCrypto
Terminate is followed in close succession by an Initialize, neither
will occur avoiding the overhead. A timer enables a countdown process.
If no session activity occurs, the timer will eventually terminate
OEMCrypto and exit.

SPOIDs (Stable Per-Origin IDentifiers) were not correctly being
set during CdmEngine construction. This resulted in SPOID values not
being sent in provisioning requests. This caused the serial number in
the drm certificate to not be stable after a reprovision.
This behaviour appears to be true going back to O.
CdmEngine no longer takes a SPOID in the constructor since not all
callers use SPOIDs. A setter has been added in its place. Previously
spoid had a default argument to the constructor.

In order to work around a limitation of some versions of OEMCrypto,
the packager is going to start generating files with multiple Widevine
PSSH boxes. For backwards-compatibility, the first PSSH will be a
SINGLE-type PSSH while the ENTITLED_KEYS-type PSSH (if any) will come
later. In order to use entitlement licenses, then, the CDM needs to
change how it selects PSSHs from the init data blob.
Previously, the CDM always took the first Widevine PSSH it found. Now,
it must find all the Widevine PSSHs and select the appropriate PSSH
for the OEMCrypto implementation. ENTITLTED_KEYS will be used on OEC
v14 and later, if available, while SINGLE will be preferred on earlier
OEMCrypto versions.
As a side-effect of this, the CDM is now stricter about what PSSH
payloads it will accept. Previously, it would blindly accept the
payload of any PSSH where the wrapper was not malformed. Now, it
sometimes has to actually parse the payload, and therefore PSSHs that
have corrupted payloads will be rejected. This affected a few unit
tests which used PSSHs that were malformed. These tests have been
updated to use PSSHs that do not fail to parse.

a call with a Contains matcher as an argument, e.g.:
EXPECT_CALL(file,
Write(Contains(certificate, wrapped_private_key, 0),

* Correct RELEASE_ALL_USAGE_INFO_ERRORs
Author: Rahul Frias <rfrias@google.com>
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/28742 ]
RELEASE_ALL_USAGE_INFO_ERROR_4 and 5 were introduced and made use of in
http://go/wvgerrit/24022 (branch: oc-dev). The error code definitions
were merged over in http://go/wvgerrit/24602.
When http://go/wvgerrit/24622 from cdm_partners_3.2 was merged to master
(http://go/wvgerrit/27723) there was conflict in error codes. The error
codes were adjusted to RELEASE_ALL_USAGE_INFO_ERROR_3 and 4
and were made use of.
To avoid renaming the errors between oc-dev and master, new errors
RELEASE_ALL_USAGE_INFO_ERROR_6 and 7 have been added to handle the
scenarios noted in the merge from cdm_partner_3.2. The other
errors have been reverted back to RELEASE_ALL_USAGE_INFO_ERROR_4 and 5.
They will be used when http://go/wvgerrit/24602 is merged.

* Update service certificate.
Author: Gene Morgan <gmorgan@google.com>
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/28065 ]
The updated service certificate fixes a number of failing tests.
There are still some that fail, apparently due to mismatches
with key set IDs and usage tables.
Also updated QA server URL to point to QA proxy (although neither
can be used by this client).
Also fixed segfault in CdmTest.ListUsageRecords.
* Add CDM APIs for Handling Service Certificates.
Author: Gene Morgan <gmorgan@google.com>
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/28064 ]
The responsibility for managing Service Certificates has been moved
out of the CDM. Instead, provide CDM and CdmEngine methods to generate
a service certificate request message, and handle a service certificate
response. The API client can use these calls if it needs to get the
service certificate from the License Server.
These functions assume the request and response are base64 (web-safe)
encoded (see b/37481392). Not all servers are operating this way yet.
Any adaptations for non-compliant servers is handled outside the CDM.
See test WvCdmEnginePreProvTest::ServiceCertificateRequestResponse in
cdm_engine_test.cpp for an example of this.
These changes also eliminate the stored init_data and deferred
license type which were used to perform a service certificate request
during a license request.

* Get rid of default service certificate.
Author: Gene Morgan <gmorgan@google.com>
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/27981 ]
Instead, we need at least two service certs - one for the QA/Test
servers, and one for UAT (and prod?)
There are still some issues around the signature verififcation
of the service cert, and in license_unittest.cpp, the use
of the default service cert has been commented out. I don't know
why this test needs a service cert. If it really does, then the
same mechanism that is used elsewhere for selecting a specific
server type will be needed here.

* Fix handling of OEM Cert public key.
Author: Srujan Gaddam <srujzs@google.com>
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/27921 ]
This is a potential fix for b/36656190. Set aside public
key on first call to get the public key, and use it afterwards.
This gets rid of extra calls to OEMCrypto_GetOEMPublicCertificate(),
which has side-effect of staging the OEM private key.
This also fixes a problem where the public cert string was
not being trimmed to match the size returned by
OEMCrypto_GetOEMPublicCertificate().

* Implement Cdm::deleteAllUsageRecords()
Author: Gene Morgan <gmorgan@google.com>

BUG: 35319024
* Modifiable OEMCrypto
Author: Fred Gylys-Colwell <fredgc@google.com>
[ Merge of http://go/wvgerrit/24729 ]
This CL adds a new variant of the OEMCrypto mock code that adjusts its
behavior based on a configuration file. This is intended for
testing.
For example, a tester can set current_hdcp to 2 in the options.txt
file, push it to the device, and verify that a license is granted for
HDCP 2.0. Then the tester can edit the value of current_hdcp to 1 and
push the file to the device. Playback should stop because the license
is no longer valid.
This variant uses a real level 1 liboemcrypto.so to push data to a
secure buffer. That means we can test playback for a license that
requires secure buffers on an Android device with real secure buffers.

Service Certificates are used in two places, provisioning and
licensing. The service certificate code depended on a session_id
to get and set the service certificate properties, but the session_id
was not available in the provisioning path.
This patch pulls out the property lookup by session_id dependency,
and passes the CdmImpl's property_set into the provisioning code, so
the service certificate can be read and written there.

This fixes a problem where a CdmEngine instance (and its sessions) could
be closed before its metrics could be collected. The change allows the
wv_content_decryption_module to extract metrics from instances about to

The methods on WvContentDecryptionModule related to UsageInfo (Secure
Stops) do not work if kDefaultCdmIdentifier has not been provisioned.
This can occur if an app provisions and uses an origin without any app
on that device ever provisioning the default origin. More concerningly,
this will happen 100% of the time on SPOID-using devices, as there is no
way to provision the default identifier on these devices.
The fix is to pass the current identifier to these methods so that they
do not have to use kDefaultCdmIdentifier.
